The American Council of Blind Lions was organized in 1971, and we invite you to join us as we celebrate our 40th anniversary throughout 2011.
ACBL gives Lions from across America a chance to share ideas and experiences. ACBL encourages others in ACB to become Lions and participate in service projects in local communities throughout the United States.
In 2010, the American Council of Blind Lions assisted an ACB scholarship winner to attend the national conference and convention in Phoenix. Support for this project came from contributions from members' local clubs; ACBL matched all contributions from its treasury. We are once again sponsoring one or more scholarship winners in 2011. ACBL holds monthly meetings by conference call. We also invite blind lions and others to share experiences and ask questions on the ACBL Facebook page and on our email list. Join the ACB-lions email list here.
