How You Can Help GDUA

Those who are blind know the world through sound, through scent, and through taste, but much of what we know comes through touch. It is the precious touch of a devoted guide dog that is instrumental in improving the lives of many blind individuals seeking greater independence and freedom. Today, over 8,000 specially trained Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds serve as loyal and loving partners on which their handlers can depend to assist them in living an enhanced quality of life.

Guide Dog Users of Arizona (GDUA) strives to provide continuing assistance in strengthening the relationship between the blind handler and their dog and to promote the acceptance of guide dog teams throughout Arizona. Your generous touch enables GDUA to focus our energies and resources on solutions to the challenges of working with our beloved guides.
