The meeting of the BOP was called to order at 7:35pm Eastern on April 24, 2006.
Present: Chair, Mike Duke; members: Deanna Noriega, Chelle Hart, Cindy Burgett; ex-officio member, Janelle Edwards; staff, Sharon Lovering; and guest, Ron Milliman.
Due to the minutes not being ready for distribution, we will vote on them at the next meeting.
Mike offered to send our portion of the midyear seminar on an audio CD to our members before the convention to remind us of all the good ideas shared.
Ron Milliman, MMS Program Committee Chair, made a proposal to include a tag line in every issue of the Forum promoting the MMS Program and a quarterly article mentioning 2 contributers with a 500 words limit. DeAnna moved and Chelle seconded. After discussion of availability of space, the motion passed unanimously.
Ron then left the call.
A half hour into the call, we went into Executive session to discuss awards.
Executive session lasted 42 minutes.
Mike reported that winners of the Freeman and Henley award winners were selected and will be notified.
The meeting adjourned at 9:47pm Eastern.
