Here you will find information on the Quarantine laws and regulations and necessary forms that can be downloaded and printed out for visitors to the Hawaiian Islands. The information is published by the Department of Agriculture of the State of Hawaii.

In addition, there are also private companies offering independent living aids such as video magnifiers, JAWS, ZoomText and other, hardware and software tools to help blind and visually impaired persons. Among them are Pacific Medical Health & Supply and  Island Skill Gathering.

Moreover, it would be interesting to learn what present-day scientists, medical and others, are doing with regards to blindness. We find the information at the Foundation Fighting Blindness very useful, inspiring and enlightening. It may not be in this age and time but hopefully someday, science can find an answer to blindness.
