We, in order for our legislature to better understand our concerns, each legislative year, usually in late January or early February, sponsors a senators appreciation luncheon whereby members of the organization take this opportunity to not only meet with, and get to know, his or her legislative representative, but also use this luncheon as a means to discuss matters of importance concerning the blind and visually impaired across Nebraska.
