Give A Lift

The American Council of the Blind of Nebraska, Lincoln Chapter, is sponsoring a subsidized cab program. All legally blind and visually impaired people in Lincoln are eligible for this program.

The rules of the program are as follows:

• You may buy up to $200.00 worth of Serviant cab tickets for $100.00. This is for a six (6) month defined period - February 1 through July 31, and August 1 through January 31. You do not need to buy all $200.00 worth at one time.
• The Serviant cab company works as most cab companies, and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  
  You must complete and sign, and also have an application signed by your eye specialist or counselor at the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Then return the application to:

After we receive the application, you will be contacted as to the number of tickets you desire, and we will arrange for delivery.
