[aavl] WHY ARE SO MANY UNSUBSCRIBING?

hi, Robert.

I don't know why so many members are asking to be taken off the list. I
do know that I for one very much appreciate hearing what is going on. I
thought it was great for Bill to send out the list of officer candidates. I
was wondering about it and was very glad to have the information. I
certainly hope you do not decide it isn't worth it because of some people
not wanting to be on it.

Subject: [aavl] WHY ARE SO MANY UNSUBSCRIBING?

Members of the AAVL list:

I just got about 10 messages about that many members unsubscribing from the
list. I thought the list would be a good idea so that we can get notices
out to our group. For example, Bill listed (rather nicely, too) the slate
of officers for the election.

I am wondering if something is malfunctioning and people are being taken off
even though they don't intend to leave?

QUESTION: Is there enough interest to keep the list going. I don't mind
taking time to administer the list. Let me know your thoughts?
