well rob as for me I think this list is a great idea and I sure thank you for going to the trouble of putting it together.  We not only need this list to comunicate with each other but also to exchange ideas.  please all you members or those of you who are interested in AAVL  stay with us and lets keep this affiliate alive and active.

    Members of the AAVL list:

    I just got about 10 messages about that many members unsubscribing from the list.  I thought the list would be a good idea so that we can get notices out to our group.  For example, Bill listed (rather nicely, too) the slate of officers for the election.

    I am wondering if something is malfunctioning and people are being taken off even though they don't intend to leave?

    QUESTION:  Is there enough interest to keep the list going.  I don't mind taking time to administer the list.  Let me know your thoughts?
