hay teddie Joy, so good to hear from you, this has been a rough time for AAVL. I sure miss Al although we finally got a great secretary-treasurer. I am sorry but I won't be at the convention this year. Fred and I had to make a trip west so funds are low for travel. I thought about running for president again but truly I server two terms, and would love to see some one step up and try it. but I am like Oral if there is no one else. I love the ideas of this organization that you started and feel it could do a great deal for ACB in general.

Hi Nola,
I will be there, but I really don't have time to run for office. I am still working as a consultant, 20 hours per week. However, I also have a number of other commitments and travel a lot. If we could find someone to fill in this time, maybe I could run next time. Thanks for the encouragement and I will be attending.
Teddie

hay teddie joy, are you planning to go to the convention. the election will be held on monday after the luncheon entertainment at the bussiness. we can sure use your input then. as for Oral he told the committee that he would rather not take on the job as president, but would run if no one elso could be found. you could take it on again we'ed love it.

Hi Robert,
Technically, she is not past president. However, is Ed Bradley interested in filling that position? We may be without a past president until the next election. When will that take place? Is Oral Miller interested in running for President. If not, he would be official past president when another one is elected.

It was mentioned that Nola was the past president when Doc was president. The question was is Nola still the past president after Doc resigned. Now if Doc had been voted out, he would become past president displacing Nola. However, he resigned and cannot be considered as such. He has simply left being an officer and, even though he may have contributed much, he doesn't figure into the structure of officers anywhere.
I believe the past president before Doc was Nola. The past president after Mr. President Doc resigned is still Nola.
Robert Rogers
