ok guys, it sounds like we are getting back on the ball, now the next thing we have to get is a new editor for the hour glass.  so we can get all our old members to reup.  does anyone have any suggestions?

  AAVL elected Oral Miller for a two year term as president, along with John Huffman as VP.  Secretary Is Marilyn Lutter and Sue Wesley will continue as treasurer.  Board members Penny Reeder, Charlie Crawford, M.J. Schmitt.  There was a renewed commitment to support AAVL into a second decade.    It was an overall excellent convention.

    How did the convention go?  I suppose that is such a big array to which to respond that it is sort impossible to answer.  

    1.  Who got elected in AAVL

    2.  Who won the raffle.

    3.  Were there any riots on the convention floor?

    4.  How many resolutions were presented?
    A.  5
    B.  15
    C.  50 and there was a major uprising of the conventioneers?

    Well?  I do jest with some of those questions.  smiles
