I'm sorry to hear about the death of George.  I have known of him for years but have met him personally only on several occasions at AAVL Mixers.  He was a nice fellow and enjoyed humor.

  It has occurred to me that some of you do not know about George Coorey.  He has been seriously ill for some time now.  He had several strokes in the last few months and just a few weeks ago, he died.  

  I have know him since 1956.  He introduced my wife, Joyce, and me to ACB in 1981.  He has been a very good friend since that time  As you can probably see, Joyce and I will miss him very much.

  I thought some of you would want to know about George.
