I will miss George.  I met at the convention in Pittsburgh and often sat 
next to him at National Convention and also talked to him at state 
conventions.    I enjoyed his playing at the AAVL Mixers.

It has occurred to me that some of you do not know about George Coorey.  He 
has been seriously ill for some time now.  He had several strokes in the 
last few months and just a few weeks ago, he died.

I have know him since 1956.  He introduced my wife, Joyce, and me to ACB in 
1981.  He has been a very good friend since that time  As you can probably 
see, Joyce and I will miss him very much.

I thought some of you would want to know about George.
