Hi all,
    Just a reminder of our upcoming "membership" focus calls. Our next call will be on Sunday, October 17 at 5 pm Pacific/8 pm Eastern on the topic "The challenge of aging and blindness and how ACB can make a difference". Everyone wants to highlight getting younger members which is excellent. However, 75 percent of blind people are over the age of 55. It is the fastest growing segment of people who are visually impaired. This topic is meant to get affiliates to share what they've done in this area in order to assist other affiliates in looking at how to reach this group. The call-in number is: 712-775-7000 and the pass code is: 640009. Also, place on your calendar the following two dates for upcoming "membership" focus calls: Sunday, Jan. 23 at 5 pm Pacific/8 pm Eastern on "Involving youth in ACB". Monday, April 25 at 5:30 pm Pacific/8:30 pm Eastern will be the spring call with a topic to be determined.
