[aavl] Board meting?

Evening AAVL Board,
     At the last Board Meeting we decided to have a raffle at the 2011 ACB 
National Convention with cash prizes of $100.00, $50.00, and $25.00.  We need 
to sell $175.00 worth of tickets just to cover the prizes.  We also decided to 
sent $25.00 worth of tickets to each board member.  That will be 30 tickets.
     The price for the tickets is $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
     ***I still need a list of names and addresses of the AAVL Board Members so 
that I can mail out tickets.***  

     If you can sell more tickets just let me know and I will gladly sent you 
more.  The more we sell the more we make.  I will be at the convention and can 
give you more tickets while you are there.  You can find me or Susie Weatherford 
in the Arkansas Delegation to get more tickets during the convention.
     I always budget $25.00 for ticket "donations" into my convention expenses.  
When that's gone so be it.  If I haven't been approached by other affiliates for 
raffle donations then I spend the remainder of my Raffle Fund on my affiliate.
     Rachel's Tip:  take some of those address labels that various organizations 
send you requesting donations and put them in your convention bag.  You can put 
them on any raffle tickets to speed up the process when you purchase tickets on 
sight.
     I hope to see you at the 50th Anniversary of the American Council of the 
Blind Convention in Reno this summer.

The proposed board meeting did not get scheduled, so you did not miss anything. 
I am exploring having a meeting in about 3 weeks. A notice will be sent out
