Thanks Nancy. I'm doing better and finally trying to catch up on all email.
I've been out of the hospital for about 23 days, and the other night went
back to ER due to a low blood sugar. I've been diagnosed with Diabetes for
about four years, and that's the first low. It seems that the new heart
valve and perhaps just the surgery in general has temporarily changed my
blood sugar. It's something I used to talk to my students about at the
Junior Blind when I directed a residential program for blind adults, but
it's sure different when it's you who is effected by it.
Thanks again.
KEN

Hi Ken,
I did not know you were having surgery but am glad to hear that everything
went well. I understand you had a pig valve put in your heart. Hopefully
you won't be in the hospital for long.
Warm wishes,
Dee
