Yeah, can't help noticing that they don't brag about accuracy. I'll
support them when they tell the truth. You can't tell blind people
that there is no visual inspection of strips necessary and that say
that it should be step 3 when using the meter in the print
instructions. It is possible to hear a beep, thinking that we have
gotten enough blood on the strip, yet miss an area of coverage,
thereby giving us a false reading. I'm also looking for support
documentation but I did hear that there is some sort of legal battle
ahead, something having to do with just adapting someone else's meter.
I don't care if it's cheap, if the thing is not trustworthy, is so
cheaply packaged that the memory keeps being reset. It's not a big
deal for me that setting the time on my current meter is a bit of a
pain in the but because I don't have to reset it every 20 minutes.
I realize I may sound harsh here, but I don't like companies thinking
that they can win me over just because they put a few talking
enticements on a less than steller product. You can't just demand
business from us because we're blind. Prove it! I deserve better.
