[acb-diabetics] ACBDA Fundraiser

As many of you know, ACBDA's main fundraiser in recent years has been a raffle. Last year, the first prize was $100.00, the second prize was $75.00 and the third prize was $50.00. We took in $589.00 and after paying out expenses for mailing, printing, prizes, etc., we made a profit of $268.32.

At a recent ACBDA board meeting, the board voted in favor of having the raffle again this year; however, we need a a member of this organization to volunteer to run the raffle. If any of you are willing to head up this project or would like to talk about it in more detail, please contact me (Shirley Roberts) by Monday, March 8th at n8lx at earthlink.net or by phone at (937) 898-1989. Please remember this is our main fundraiser for the year and I hope that all of you will assist in some way with this project.
