I hope it is okay to send this out on this list.
I got some questions for you with Diabetic retinopathy. When did you
become blind? What were the first signs of Diabetic retinopathy for you?
Once discovered, how long did it take until your vision was gone?
I am making up an article on Diabetic retinopathy for my newspaper column
and would like some more knowledge other than the web. (No names used or at
least fake names.)
I know a couple folk here, with diabetes who are treating it like it is "no
big deal and refuse to do anything to lower their B/S, but for slowly
increasing their diabetic medication." I'd like to encourage people to
watch their diet and to exercise to help keep their B/S in control. I
understand that for some even this hasn't helped but for many it will.
