Good evening to all on the list and beyond.
The special interest group of the ACB, Diabetics in Action, will be selling
raffle tickets with at least three cash prizes of $100, $75, and $25, along
with other fun prizes. These tickets will sell for $1 each, or six for $5.
As the raffle Chair, I would ask all of you to quickly contact me so that I
can get these tickets out to you ASAP, and we will pick the winning tickets
at our program in Phoenix on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 as part of the ACB
national Convention.
I apologize for not getting this out earlier, but I have had computer
problems from you know where, and am finally back on line, I believe. You
can reach me by email at kenmetz at sbcglobal.net
You can phone me at home, (626) 300-8477 or on my cell at (323) 793-1805.
Even if you don't attend the ACB Convention, we need you to sell our raffle
tickets, and you are still eligible to win the cash prizes.
We in ACBDA, have a lot of work ahead of us in providing a large amount of
information pertaining to Diabetes to those persons who are blind and
visually impaired including new medications, programs, and especially in
regards to adaptive equipment to best monitor our blood sugar and related
treatments.
I look forward to hearing from you quickly so that I can get your tickets to
you and to have them returned in time to have a great opportunity at winning
our cash prizes.
Best to all of you,
Ken Metz
