Hi Pat.

Sorry to hear about the additional setback. I'm sure it's tiring to deal with, but hang in there. You are one tough person.

Well as usual, I have to up-date people with what is happening to me. Two weeks ago, I had shunt put in my rt. Upper arm. The lower arm had vessels that "too puny" to installed there, which is the usual place. Six days later, the incision burst open. My husband said the bedroom looked like a crime. We went to the? ER, where the doctor praised my husband for stopping bleeding. They put a bandage on it and sent it home. Over Memorial weekend, it started hurting more a more. I went to the doc on Tuesday. He agreed I had developed a cellulitis and should see the surgeon. I did that later the same day and he redressed it and put silver iodine on it. It is finally healing up and is itching like crazy! I am still not on dialysis, but am close to it. The doc said I should not go to camp as any kind of heat or other stress would put me into complete failure and shunt is not" mature" enough to use.

I am going to try and go to Phoenix for a couple of days, but again will have to do it at the last minute after and okay from my doc.
