Dotty, the thing you are talking about on the Prodigy is for a USB 
cable. If you want to connect the meter to a computer, you'd take the 
rubber thingie off and insert the USB cable. I've never tried the 
software though.
As for the Gluco watch, not now! For one thing, people had a lot of 
trouble with it and it really isn't ready for prime time yet. I know 
one of the endocrinologists who was really excited about it in the 
beginning and hosted some of the early trials. He won't go near it 
any more. People had really nasty reactions to the tape. It didn't 
stand up well to perspiration and calibrating it was a royal pain. 
Fraid we're stuck with what we've got for now. <grin.>
I am a Type 1 and use an insulin pump. But trust me, many of the 
insites, struggles, annoyances and choices are the same. So three 
cheers for helping each other and good luck with all of the new 
stuff. We're always here.
