[acb-diabetics] weight loss

One thing that I have found helpful is to purchase a few portion plates.
They are melamine plates, divided into three sections, the largest for
vegetables, a smaller one for meat and another one for whole grains or
starches. I found a doctor's office here in Nashville that gave me one and
home services for the state of TN purchased me two more. I think this really
helps, because it's so easy to underestimate my portion sizes. Jo Anne.

Where are you from? Does your city or county have a local diabetics
association? You may want to start there first. Is your Dr. a General
Physician or someone that has a practice in Internal Medicine? It is
important for your diabetic care to have all the correct tools to work with.
This is in your favor for your weight loss and diabetic care.

Hi All,

My doctor wants me to lose weight but, he didn't have any guidelines for me
to follow. Where is a good place to get weight loss information? Any help
would be most appreciated. Thanks,

Regards, Gary Metzler
