Where do you live in Ohio; I live in the Dayton area.

The DAN organization that you asked about is the diabetes affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind. This email list, just in case you might not be aware of it, is affiliated with the American Council of the Blind. If you are a member of ACB or are interested in the organization, we are going to be having our Ohio convention from November 5-7 with a seminar and a meeting regarding diabetes. If you are planning to attend the convention or would like more information, please feel free to contact me off the list.

My name is Greg Wocher.  I have been a diabetic for 31 years, ever since I was four years old.  I lost my eyesight due to my diabetes, back in 2002.  I look forward with speaking with other blind diabetics.
