Please call your doc ASAP. One complication of that kind of shunt is that
it can move out of place.

Subject: [acb-diabetics] In pain. May have to go back to doc soon.
Having pain on my left side near my rib (and my surgery scar from 1992
hydrocephalic shunt tube lengthening surgery). Bad enough that it hurts to
lay flat & it doesn't allow me to sleep much. Not really very hungry either
but I am forcing myself to eat. Wondering if it could be my kidney giving me
trouble. Been drinking Sierra Mist with 1/2 water.
