Oh, yes, I did try there and they refused me. As did City of Hope.
The dialysis is going well and I feel much better since getting used to it.
Yes, hope to see you there also. Glad you recovered from that strange
episode. That is a new one on me!

I think you tried at UCSF and they said NO.
We were both disappointed at the time. It is always worth checking the new
protocols. I was turned down by UCSF many times . They accepted me at the
University of Minnesota and it just turned out to be the same protocol as
UCSF.
They put the cells in my liver.
I did have a serious problem the beginning of the year.
Have you heard of
Rhabdomyolysis? I was in the hospital twice. the muscle cells burst open
and release an enzyme into your system that is toxic, or at least damaging
to the kidneys.
They don't know what caused it.
Pat, how are you doing with dialysis? I know it can be very hard.
