Good luck to you. I hope that Apidra works out for you. Trying to regulate 
and have consistent blood sugars is difficult.

Yes, Apidra is a fast-acting insulin, supposed to start working
sooner than the usual humalog regular does. It's most useful for
those who run high an hour after meals. I just started using it
yesterday and can already see that I'll be cutting back somewhere.
I'm in the process of figuring out whether that's meal bolus or basal
rates. Also, some people claim that Apidra is better for those with
allergy problems. Since I do have a slight allergy to insulin, I
thought this would be worth a try. So we'll see.
