Hi Julie! I can certainly understand the frustrations and challenges 
you bring up here. This is definitely the place for that. And while 
many of us are eagerly awaiting a good talking pump, many of us have 
actually been using different brands of insulin pumps for years now. 
It requires a little creativity here and there, but if you're truly 
interested, please don't let anyone talk you out of it on account of 
visual impairment. And there are several pump users right here who 
would be happy to back you up. <grin.> Just remember that Julie is 
valuable and deserves the best as defined by Julie.

I am a Type I diabetic and have been for 23 years. I've been using a 
pump for 20 years now and have been totally blind the entire time, 
not from diabetes.
