I hope you meant to say anti fungal cram instead of anti-bacterial. They
are really 2 different things. Most podiatrist recommend what you are
doing, except some kind of cream without alcohol in it is good to put on
your feet after your shower to help keep the skin from cracking with
dryness. Sounds like you are treating your feet well!

Subject: [acb-diabetics] Advice on good foot care
At present I have no particular problems other than what would seem to be
age related, 71. I do have some numbness and tingling, along with that
stiff, leathery feeling to the skin. I walk several miles a week with my
Guide Dog, Kerwin, and make sure that my feet are clean as well as using
daily applications of bacterial creams for athletes' foot. The question then
is, "What other types of activities, apllications or devices might be used
to maintain or improve blood circulation, nerve function and skin condition?
Any or all suggestions would be appreciated. I do realize that not
everything may work or be affordable for everybody. But I thought I would
ask anyway.
