[acb-diabetics] Advice on good foot care

Everyone I've asked says walking or stationary bike are good for exercise.
I use compression stockings, also called support stockings. They are
elastic and push the blood out of your veins. If this isn't happening, your
lower legs and feet look purple. They go up to just below your knee and
come in various colors, sizes and degrees of compression.
There are machines that squeeze your legs in order to improve circulation.
You need good insurance and disposable income. A good whirlpool bath would
probably help. I'm trying to find one that doesn't involve expensive
plumbing.
My foot care involves cutting and filing my toenails and removing corns and
callouses. The doctor also looks for sores or infection that I might not
see or feel.

Hi Grant,
I understand a stationary bike is good to use to keep the circulation in the
legs.
