  Barb et al:

First off, hope all is well with everyone. I don't post much but thought I'd lend my 3 cents worth to this topic.

I hate when socks lose their elasticity and start sagging. But one way that MIGHT prevent this is, after washing, hang the socks up and let them air dry. We ladies learn to do this for our bras, because the drying machines tend to dry out the elastic too much.

Also one can take it a step further, and hand wash the socks in Woolite and let them air dry.

  Hope this helps.
  Ms. D.

last year i started wearing dr. sholes knee highs which are supposed to help with circulation. i haven't put them on since the weather turned cooler this year. however, i have been wearing what has been labeled as diabetic sox. problem with these is that they're stretching, thus drooping so now i'm leaning toward going back to the knee-highs.
