[acb-diabetics] Heard from Eileen Scrivanni

I don't know if Eileen was a member of ACBDA but I'm fairly certain she was
a member of ACB. I am also fairly certain that she was/is on both this list
and NFB's diabetes-Talk. Perhaps Shirley Roberts knows more?

Hi Sally,

 

I do not remember the name being on our list.  I also, donot believe she was
a member of ACBDA.  I know what you mean about not hearing from people for a
long time.

 

The one year when I called members to help remind them about dues I found
out that one of our members had passed away.  I felt then that my calling
was really worth it because we may have never known.  *I know that there was
a member we do not know if he passed away but anything sent to him came back
with address unknown and when I tried calling the number was disconnected
with no forward number.

 

I will always feel that calling members around the end of the year or
beginning of the new year it really well worth the time and if the president
wants me to do this every year I am sure willing to.

When I haven't heard from a diabetic emiail friend for too long, I get
concerned.  

I've not heard from her since August 2010.
