Best wishes for you tomorrow. It sounds like your last knee replacement went
well, so last's hope this one goes as well. Can Sandy let us know how you
are doing?
That is a great A1C!!! The best way to get your HDL up is more
exercise-which is difficult if you have a bum knee!

Subject: [acb-diabetics] meeting
Hi Pat and All,
As far as I know I will be on the meeting on the 27th. I go into the
hospital tomorrow morning at 9:30 to have surgery for a knee replacement.
Surgery is scheduled for 11:30. I will be out of the hospital and home
hopefully on August 23rd.
I went for my preop check on the 7th and got my A1C report. It was realoly
great this time at 5.4. My cholesterol was 95 and the triglycerides you
below 200. I ned to work on bringing up the good cholesterol, though. It
was 25 and they like it to be around 40 or 50. I guess I have to eat more
dark greeen vegetables but if anyone has any suggestions please pass them
along.
Will talk to everyone at the end of the week or over next weekend.
Dee
