HI Dee,
Good luck with the surgery. Your tests results were great except for the
HDL. I saw my endocrinologist last week. I don't know what my A1C was yet,
but he was very pleased with my test results. My worst tests have always
been the after breakfast ones. When I saw him last week he tested my blood
with two meters as he always. It was a little more than two hours after
breakfast and one meter was 115 and the other was 116. Both of us were very
pleased.
I will plan to be on the call. I am not on the board, and can't vote, but I
would appreciate an opportunity to talk briefly about the possibility of our
combining with one or more other affiliates for some part of our program.
Marilyn

Hi Pat and All,
As far as I know I will be on the meeting on the 27th. I go into the
hospital tomorrow morning at 9:30 to have surgery for a knee replacement.
Surgery is scheduled for 11:30. I will be out of the hospital and home
hopefully on August 23rd.
I went for my preop check on the 7th and got my A1C report. It was realoly
great this time at 5.4. My cholesterol was 95 and the triglycerides you
below 200. I ned to work on bringing up the good cholesterol, though. It
was 25 and they like it to be around 40 or 50. I guess I have to eat more
dark greeen vegetables but if anyone has any suggestions please pass them
along.
Will talk to everyone at the end of the week or over next weekend.
Dee
