Subject: [acb-diabetics] Challenge of holiday and stress

Well Thanksgiving, my birthday weekend and a death in the family made my A1C
go high,7.9. I am pretty annoyed. My blood sugar averages 150 or more for
over 15 months. I need my doctor to change my medication. I am over 200
after every oatmeal in the morning, my favorite food. I see him in January.
I am recording all the food I eat for several weeks so he can see the
results. The kids ( adults )may not be here for Christmas Day so cookie
baking has come to a halt. I do bring some to friends who have family
members who are sick. So that is my story. I am on pills and Levemir 10.
