[acb-diabetics] Test strips for talking meters

Has anyone else been told by their pharmacy or mail order provider that test strips for talking glucose meters are not preferred and will cost more than ones for a non talking meter? Blue Cross federal even says Freestyle strips are non preferred to One Touch or Accucheck.  They will make an exception via a form filled out by doc and approved by them.
