[acb-diabetics] how much diabetic education have you had?

None ... I taught myself. I could have gone to classes but figured that
between the BARD site, NFB's diabetes Action network and ACB's Diabetics in
Action, I had sufficient resources to figure it out.

While I acknowledge that diabetes education is great and is usually never
wasted, it sounds like your CDE is miffed that she hasn't gotten more
business from you. <smile>

I was talking with a diabetic educator today who said i should be getting 8 
hours yearly of education and the hour i spent with an educator and another 
hour with a dietician when first diagnosed was not enough.
