Hi Barb,

I have never heard that you shouldn't use your thumbs.  I never have as on 
of my Doctors once told me that most people find it difficult.

Don't know why that would be.  I use my thumbs all the time.

anyone have a solution to this? When I was first diagnosed as diabetic I was

told not to use my thumbs for testing. Other than being aware that the
thumbs are used for gripping, I am not sure why I should avoid testing with
my thumbs. Anyone else know?
