[acb-diabetics] Fwd: New meter

Mike, the name of the app as well as the meter is ibgstar. You have 
to buy the meter and strips, then connect the meter to your iphone. 
It's put out by Sanofi. I went to the web site and tried to click on 
the video tutorials, but wasn't successful. On the web site it says 
that you can send your information, including BG number, insulin, 
carbs and notes to your team, use the phone to look at results during 
your appointment, etc. I didn't get much of a hint as to whether or 
not something like an ordinary BG number would appear on the iphone 
screen after doing a test. But you do have to buy the meter and 
strips. They claim that the meter can be used either with the iphone 
or as a stand-alone meter and that it's accurate according to today's 
standards. <chuckle.> I'm going to see if my sighted hubby can click 
on one of these videos which may show a screen shot. Any hint of 
possible fun, I'm running down and buying the meter! May as well add 
to my museum! Hahahaha!
