I Love almonds! -- I Hate almonds!
More than 20 years ago I was on a big wait losing campaign and one of the
items I was eating were lots of almonds along with a number of other foods
high in oxalic acid. Consequently, do to my particular anatomy, I developed
oxalic kidney stones -- ouch! The technician who did my IVP had the same
thing happen to him. At that time I had managed to lose over 50 pounds.
Since becoming diabetic and after going on insulin I have gained back about
25. I guess it is time for another almond binge! smile! BTW, I still eat
almonds -- just in moderation. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
Thanks Pat for the good articles and info you post!
Grant
