Hello, Alice,
I am studying for a Master's degree in Positive Psychotherapy. We 
learned recently that stress plays much more of a part in diabetes than 
previously thought. I'm so glad you understand the relation between 
stress and depression on one hand and yoyo weight and high blood sugar 
levels on the other, rather than adding to your distress by blaming 
yourself for having poor will power. Know that we are here to help as 
needed. You might try Viktor Frankl's book "Man's Search for Meaning." 
BARD, Bookshare and Audible all have it. Hang in there. In your 
situation just writing your message is a victory in itself.
