[acb-diabetics] is it my meter or the strips?

it might come to that at the rate i'm needling my fingers trying to get a 
reading. this morn. it took 4 strips before i got a reading--3 came back 
"please ensure propper operation" and i don't know what i did differently on 
that 4th try.
