Hi Yvonne, I would consider it. However, usually someone within the agency you are placed with must have a msw. I was going to supervise someone and they worked in a different unit and I actually had little contact with them. Also, I have been out of the mainstream area of social work for some time also. I do have a msw and am licensed.

Subject: [acb-hsp] MSW?
I am having allot of problems with my current internship and would like to change, but I need to be supervised by someone with a MSW or a higher degree in social work. So I am wondering if anyone on the list has a MSW, and if I am allowed would have 1 hour per week to help me with supervision? Not sure yet if this is even allowed, but am checking out my options.
Thanks,
Yvonne
