[acb-hsp] ACB-HSP conference call summary for April 3, 2011

The ACB-HSP conference call began at 8:30 pm. EDT., 5:30 pm. PDT.  Prior to 
this call, there was another conference call for ACB-HSP officers.  The 
topic for discussion was the ACB-HSP program for the ACB 
conference/convention being held in July.
Our HSP event will be on Wednesday, July 13th.  The presentation will be on 
how a blind person can work a room while networking.  This will include a 
discussion of how to initiate communication with some one whose primary 
method of initial contact is eye contact.  Our program will be from 2:45 pm. 
to 4:00 pm.  Our networking/social will be from 5:45 pm. to 7:00 pm. and 
refreshments will be served. .
At the May conference call, it will be decided on who will write up the 
program synopsis for the convention newspaper and who will be responsible 
for getting it into Sharon Lovering in a timely manner so that the article 
will be in the convention newspaper for the thre days prior to our event
Our next conference call will be on May 1st.  Ardis Bazyn will talk about 
membership and recruitment.  Marleen will ask Deanna Austin if she would be 
willing to speak at our June conference call on bioptic driving
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 pm. EDT and 6:30 pm. PDT.
