Hi. Look over typos. I'm still getting used to the BrailleSense. Anyway, counselors and therapists work with people's emotions, present and past life experiences and help them resolve problems by recognizing patterns of dysfunctional behavior. Lifecoaches help people set goals, stick to them and provide support and encouragement. For example, if you want to lose weight, the therapist might get into issues of what is causing you to gain weight, not be motivated to diet or exercise and the like, how your cognition affects your emotions which corresponds to behavior of eating, and the like.
The life coach would help you establish the goa'l of losing weight, help you determine what it is you are going to do to accomplish this goal, help you get connected with things like Weightwatchers, nutritional counseling, set realistic goals and the like, and coach you through the process. And stick beside you as long as you needed still wanted the coaching.
Hope that helps.
Jessie
