[acb-hsp] ACB-HSP conference call summary for October 2, 2011

The call began at 8:30 pm. EDT., 5:30 pm. PDT.  6 members were in 
attendance.  President Darian Slayton Fleming presided over the meeting. 
The topic for discussion was to prepare a schedule of topics and speakers 
for upcoming calls.  In the past, conference calls were held monthly. 
However, the Board felt that it would be better to go to a bi-monthly call 
schedule.  This would allow presentors more time to prepare their 
presentations.  It was decided that one speaker would present on the process 
of pursuing their doctorate, and the issues and obstacles they faced. 
Another presentation would be on career counseling in a difficult economy, 
and a third presentation would be on running a private practice.  Since the 
identities of the presentors, and the details of their presentations have 
not yet been finalized, members should watch this list for further details 
of upcoming calls.  The next membership conference call will be held on 
Sunday, December 4, 2011.  Further details as to the speaker and topic will 
be forthcoming on this list. The February conference call will be held on 
Sunday, February 12 due to the fact that the Super Bowl is on February 5. 
There will be a board meeting one half hour prior to that call to discuss 
the ACB-HSP program for the upcoming convention in Louisville.  Darian is 
going to let the officers know if there is any money due to ACB for the
