[acb-hsp] ACB-HSP conference call reminder for April 1, 2012

In response to Darla, if you just want to give the material away, it
would be easy enough to upload it to a file sharing site like Sendspace,
and just distribute the download link willy nilly to Email lists, etc.
if you are doing it as a fund raiser, and want to charge for digital
downloads, that's a little more complicated. It probably wouldn't be
too difficult for ACB HSP to set up a PayPal account, and to just give
the link to people who prepaid using PayPal. And, you could have people
send checks to the treasurer if they don't have PayPal, and then the
link could be Emailed to them. Of course, once someone got the link,
they could give it to their friends, and there wouldn't be much you
could do about that, but being that the material isn't something like a
popular music album or book, that might be less likely to happen.

Hi. OH well, shows what I know. <LOL> Thanks Andy! No wonder it took
next to forever to upload that WAV fileto the classroom. <LOL>!

WAV files can be quite large, but a program like CDEX can
convert them to MP3 which are a lot smaller, and you can get more onto
the CD.

Hi. I think the idea of recording our sessions, then
seelingthem for fundraisers is a great idea. Conferences such as
Leadership, Resolving conficts, bullying, increasing self-confidence,
improving self-esteem, social skills development, etc., should be great
sellers--$5.00 or $10.00.

We could also ask for suggestions from folks on ACB-L and other
lists.

	Great idea!

I don't know a thing about burning CD's, but I do know that the
WAV files from Freeconference are good enough quality to understand,
they download and upload well and retain that quality and so, I'd think
they would burn well enough onto a CD.

I'd be more-than-happy to assist with providing any of these
presentations.

Then perhaps we could burn several of the recordings
onto CD and sell them as a fund raiser. I believe that
www.freeconferencecall.com offers this capability.

		Lauren~

Thank you for your interest and kind words. I have no
idea how the presentation was received. Everyone was very quiet during
my talk. There were a few questions, then they all fled quickly at about
6:15. I'm not sure what to make of it, grin.

Recording these sessions is a great idea. We could think
about finding a call-in service with recording capability.

I wanted to make this call but was unable to do so.

Sorry I know Linda must have done a great presentation.

Is it recorded by any chance?
