*Executive Director, Illinois Valley Center for Independent 
Living,
LaSalle, IL*



Illinois Valley Center for Independent Living (IVCIL), located in 
LaSalle,
Illinois, is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Executive 
Director.
IVCIL is located in LaSalle Illinois and provide services to 
Bureau,
LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam, or Stark County.



Position: The Executive Director reports to the Board of 
Directors and has
overall responsibility for the administration of the Center.  
He/she will
implement the policies and procedures of the Center, as approved 
by the
Board of Directors, and will ensure sound fiscal and personnel 
management
of the Center.  Further, responsibilities include the planning, 
development,
implementation, and evaluation of the program and services.  
Also, the
Executive Director ensures that IVCIL’s mission and the 
Independent Living

Access Alaska’s South Central Regional Director is the functional 
leader
and manager for all independent living services provided through 
our
Anchorage office (see our website for more information).  As a 
leadership
team member, the individual helps plan the corporation’s 
strategic
direction, and develop the financial and human resources needed 
to carry
out our mission.  The successful candidate must demonstrate a 
heartfelt and
passionate understanding of the independent living philosophy, 
and be aware
of the impacts Access’ programs and services have on both our 
consumers and
Alaska’s independent living movement overall.



Our preferred candidate will have a MS/MA/MSW in Behavioral 
Health,
Psychology, Social or Health Services, or a closely related human 
services
field.  The individual must have 8 years of directly applicable 
management,
supervisory, and leadership experience also in a specialty area 
closely
related to the position, preferably working in the health or 
social
services field for a large regional not-for-profit.  Read
