difficulties. Some special needs, such as ADHD, involve a
medical diagnosis
and treatment. Mental health concerns also may involve the

profession and accessing health care. As a parent, finding

current information on your child's health condition makes a
difference in
your advocacy for your child. It is also important in helping
the school
better understand and support your child. The massive amounts of
information you will find on the health care system, medications,
insurance
coverages, and more may feel overwhelming at times, but do not
lose hope.
