Hi Ronda,
I also completed an internship at a VR agency. I was at Michigan
Rehabilitation Services AKA MRS. Here, in Michigan we have a separate
agency that provides VR services to the blind called Michigan
Commission for the blind. I had a great time and a great learning
experience as well. They were great to work with in coordinating
accomodations . The office was about 20 minutes from my house The
counselor covered transportation and I also got a ride from my
co-workers whenn in the field. I am wondering does Georgia have a
separate VR agency for the blind or does the general VR agency provide
services to the blind? What school in Georgia do you attend?
Good luck with your internship and keep us posted how things are going.
