Also good, Peter, as there has been much discussion, before convention,
about education regarding multicultural education and guide dogs; there are
a good number of people with different beliefs mores than ours, but it would
be neat to be able to educate those who might want a dog to the realities of
their dog being accepted in their culture, and HSP could definitely do that
and more.

Hi:

One thing HSP should try is to partner with other affiliates for program
planning and advocacy.  I actually spoke with GDUI's program chair about the
possibility of creating a mechanism where special-interest affiliates could
jointly plan programs during ACB conventions.  Will keep you posted.
